Nigerian Government’s Commitment towards Providing Enabling Environment for International Investors on Investments into the Nigerian Film Ecosystem 

Bankole Sodipo, Barrister and a Solicitor and the Senior Partner with the Law firm of G.O. Sodipo & Co. Lagos. He was a member of the 1998 Copyright Drafting Law Committee that prepared the Nigerian Copyright Act 1998. He has contributed to teaching the Masters programme at Queen Mary & Westfield College, University of London and is a visiting guest lecturer at the Nigeria Law School.

Emem Isong-Misodi is an award-winning, screenwriter, producer and now director in Nollywood. A holder of a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre Arts from the University of Calabar, Emem ventured into film making in Nigeria when it was not fashionable to do so. 

Jay Franklyn Jituboh is a Nigerian filmmaker (writer/director/producer) and Author. He has a passion for art, technology and storytelling. He grew up creating characters, drawing comic books, learning computer applications and writing short stories. In 2004, he wrote his first book, “The SIN THEORY” and a couple of other short stories. He always had a passion for film and cinematography and in 2011; he made his transition from a novelist to a screenwriter.

Kevin Nkem Nwankwor is a prominent movie director, writer, producer, and iconic film-maker. He is the CEO of KevStel Productions a film production company with extensive experience creating films from concept to creation, directing, and co-producing original content with global appeal, and creating high quality films for both low and high-budget projects. He is Skilled at building collaborative relationships with both industry leaders, talent, and crew members from across the globe. 

Kunle Afolayan is a Nigerian film director, producer and actor. He is the son of the highly regarded theatre artist and filmmaker Adeyemi Afolayan (Ade Love).

In 2006, he directed the culturally conscious film IRAPADA (REDEMPTION), which showcased his refined sensibilities for the aesthetics of storytelling, which hadn’t been duly represented in his country’s filmmaking landscape. 

Omoni Oboli is an actress, scriptwriter, producer and director. She is a multilingual French Language Graduate from the university of Benin who has featured in several groundbreaking Nollywood movies, including Kunle Afolayan's THE FIGURINE, Lonzo Nzekwe's ANCHOR BABY and many others.

With a background in directing, writing, presenting, producing, and event organization, Shirley Frimpong – Manso brings to African Cinema a rich and varied experience. Shirley joined the media and entertainment industry In Ghana right after completing her advance level education at Mfantsiman Girls Secondary School at age nineteen.

Stephanie Linus is a Nigerian actress/filmmaker with an infectious personality. She has earned a reputation as Africa’s foremost actress, especially in Nollywood, the Nigerian film industry, which The New York Times reported to be the world’s third largest. 

Alhaji Adedayo Thomas is the Executive Director of the National Film and Video Censors Board (NFVSB) appointed by President Muhammed Buhari on March 31, 2017  

Craig has over 25 years experience in the international cinema and film industry. He served as Film Booking Director of Odeon UCI in the UK for 14 years, as a Vice President at Sony Pictures in Los Angeles and was Managing Director of Altive Media where he produced and distributed live cinema events to the worldwide market.

Francis Nebot is the President International of iFind Sasu. He holds a telecommunication Engineering Diploma from Institut National des Telecommunications. He has worked for Alcatel’s International Management for 25 years with various postings in Australia, India, Spain and France. In particular , he worked on the Globacom account Nigeria’s second National Operator from its inception in 2000 generating more than 1,5 billions worth of sales.

Ijeoma Onah is a Film and TV industry executive experienced in aggregation, acquisitions and distribution of Film and TV programming both foreign and local for exploitation of rights by different platforms /across territories.

She is happy to have pioneered major inroads to Africa TV/ Film industry by various international events  by nurturing their confidence in Africa as an emerging market.

Joy Efe Odiete is an Award Winning Film Distributor & the Managing Director and CEO of Blue Pictures Film distribution in West Africa. She is a renown local and International Independent film distributor/Film Sales Agent. She is a Sub distributor to Warner Brothers Pictures, Walt Disney Pictures, Black Sheep Entertainment & other Independent studios in the US, UK & South Africa for 10years counting…

Founder of Filmhouse & FilmOne. Kene has over 25 years cinema and film industry experience. He was a founding partner and Managing Director of Genesis Deluxe Cinemas Nigeria and Senior Manger with Odeon Cinemas in the UK. He is a member of the Nigerian OSCARs selection committee, one time judge of the Nollywood Movies Awards and a member of the recently formed Creative Industry Roundtable an initiative driven by the Federal Ministry of Information, Culture and Tourism of Nigeria.

Opeyemi Ajayi is the Executive Vice President of the Genesis Deluxe Cinemas Limited, one of the leading cinema chains in Nigeria. Genesis Cinemas is a member of the Genesis Group, the largest indigenous hospitality group in the country with interest in hotels, restaurants & Industrial catering.

Born to Nigerian parents and raised in Lagos, Nigeria, Stella Albright began her college education in London, England which she completed in California State University, Dominguez Hills, California where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in 1982.  In 1984, she earned an MBA in Finance from Loyola Marymount University, Westchester CA.

Sarah Inya Lawal is a producer, talent manager and business development Manager working across theatre, film, TV and brand management for artists.

Inya is the founder of Ascend Talent Management and has worked as the branding and communications director at Uniexcel Limited and Victoria Holdings where she developed a slate of highly acclaimed media projects. She holds a Masters in Artistic Performance from Stockholm University in Sweden.
