Esiri is a Tax Partner with PwC Nigeria. Prior to this, she worked with the International Tax Services team of PwC New York focused on Africa. She has 14 years of experience providing international tax services to multinational companies in various industry sectors including the entertainment, oil and gas, private equity, telecommunications, retail and consumer sector.
She is a specialist in cross-border restructuring, tax planning for mergers and acquisitions on a pan African basis. She is also in the fore front of providing structuring advice required to the private and public sector of the Nigerian Entertainment Industry.
Esiri has worked on a number of tax structuring assignments for multinational investors with interest in sub-Saharan Africa. She has also advised severally on optimal tax structures using tax efficient holding companies and regional hubs including tax efficient finance structures across Africa. She has led several tax due diligence and structuring assignments on behalf of private equity investor firms, worked as transaction advisor to a Global Brewer in its acquisition of five Breweries in Nigeria amongst others. She is the team lead of the private wealth management team which provides specialized services to High Networth Individuals.
She holds a BSc (Hons) in Microbiology, University of Ibadan. She is a Fellow of the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants (ACCA), an Associate member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and the Chartered Institute of Taxation Nigeria (CITN).
