In the early 2000s, Kemi Adetiba started her career as a radio jock on the popular Rhythm 93.7 FM. She soon became the voice Nigeria heard on two syndicated shows “Soul'd Out” and “Sunday at the Seaside”.
She transitioned from radio to television appearing on Mnet's Studio 53 and the Temptation Nigeria game show but she solidified her presence as a household name as the host of the hit TV show Maltina Dance All.
Kemi is one of Africa's most successful directors. She has directed music videos for some of Africa’s biggest stars and global Icons including Wizkid, Tiwa Savage, Falz, Omawumi and Waje. She’s also directed commercials for multiple international brands including Amstel Malta and First Bank.
In 2016, she made her film debut with her first feature film “The Wedding Party” which broke multiple records including the record for the first Nigerian film in Cinemas to gross over 400 million naira.
Her sophomore film King of Boys was an instant sensation giving rise to the birth of the KOB Army movement. The sequel KOB2, which is set to be a Netflix original is arguably the most anticipated movie of 2021.
