Hajia Sa'a Ibrahim, the Director General, Abubakar Rimi Telelvision, Kano and presently the Chairperson of Broadcasting Organisations of Nigeria (BON) was born on 18th April, 1960 in Kano.

She bagged Masters in Public Relations from Bayero University, Kano, Bachelor of Science in Political Science from Usman Danfodio University, Sokoto and Advanced Diploma in Radio Production at the University of Jos. She has 37 years of experience in Media heading different officies.

SUMMARY OF ARCHIEVEMENT

  • Within six (6) months of assuming office as Managing Director, ARTV, Hajia Sa'a successfully upgraded the transmission from 6 hrs to 24 hrs.
  • She also recruited and formalized about 80 newly employed staff in ARTV within the period of six months.
  • Under her leadership, a community Clinic was established at the ARTV premises to provide basic health care to over 1000 people.
  • ARTV Gold Cup Soccer competition was initiated to engage youths in Kano State and support talent development.
  • In view of the need to improve productivity and enhance professionalism, Hajia Sa'a sponsored a good number of staff wishing to further their studies as well as those who wish to attend on the job trainings, seminars and workshops within and outside state.
