Kevin Nkem Nwankwor is a prominent movie director, writer, producer, and iconic film-maker. He is the CEO of KevStel Productions a film production company with extensive experience creating films from concept to creation, directing, and co-producing original content with global appeal, and creating high quality films for both low and high-budget projects. He is Skilled at building collaborative relationships with both industry leaders, talent, and crew members from across the globe.
Born in Issele-ukwu, Delta, Nigeria, Kevin began his career at his local church, where he wrote plays for the children and adult ministries and was also the leader of the drama group at that time. Famous for his breathtaking movies Tempting Fate, Enemy Within, and A mother's love. Kevin’s work always looks into dark corners, finding the light, addressing the themes of transformation, justice, and healing. He is currently working on a ground-breaking movie titled, MUNA to be released in 2018.
The award-winning motivational speaker is also known for inciting a spontaneous combustion of creative thinking, dreaming and realization in people. Having won a boatload of Awards with Toastmasters international as the best speaker, Kevin has worked as a stand-up comedian and events host for over past 18 years. As an event host, he has hosted product launch events for companies some of Nigeria’s top companies like Nigerian Breweries, Guinness Nigerian PlC, Globa-com, CBN and many other corporate organizations.
Kevin took to filming like a duck to water, enthusiastically subsuming the medium to create powerful films. His enthusiasm and love for movies have made him an accomplished filmmaker, creating soul-wrenching, awe-inspiring, thought-provoking, and inevitably watchable films. With demonstrated success and a proven track of excellence, he has starred in several movies with veteran actors. Over the years, the multi-talented entertainer has done tremendously well for himself by contributing immensely to the growth of the movie industry both home and abroad. Professionally, Kevin loves to work and nurture relationships with people from various backgrounds establishing a good rapport with them.
Tapping into his expertise and educational background, Kevin is an alumnus of the Federal University of Technology, Nigeria where he gained his Bachelor’s degree in Project management. After relocating to Atlanta in 2008, he went further to gain an MBA degree in Marketing. Prior to joining the movie industry fully, he had always had a flair for filmmaking as well as acting. Subsequently, he moved on to obtain a Masters of Fine Art in Filmmaking from the New York Film Academy. Today, this experience has led to the successful production of a number of film works that showcases his faith with soul-wrenching stories.
With an astute blend of entrepreneurship, Kevin is the CEO of KevStel Group LLC, a faithbased entertainment company he founded with the aim “to provide quality content based on faith, hope, and love through visuals and print.
