Nse Ikpe-Etim is a multiple award-winning character actress with a strong and loyal following, popularly known for her roles in Chinwe Eguagwu’s MR AND MRS, Kunle Afolayan’s PHONE SWAP, Jeta Amata’s BLACK NOVEMBER and INALE, Shirley Frimpong Manso’s DEVIL IN THE DETAIL, and Biyi Bandele’s FIFTY.

Her recent works include A HOTEL CALLED MEMORY with Akin Omotoso and South African film TESS with Meg Rickards.

Nse was nominated for Best Actress in a Leading Role at the 5th and 8th Africa Movie Academy Awards for her roles in RELOADED and MR AND MRS, respectively. In 2014, she won the Best Actress in a Drama award at the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards for playing "Nse" in JOURNEY TO SELF and is nominated for the 2016 awards as well.

Nse had her television break at the age of 18 when she anchored a show on Nigerian Television Authority (NTA). She later went into pageantry and won several crowns. She graduated from the University of Calabar where she studied theater arts and was known for her outstanding stage performances.

Besides her successful acting career, Nse is also an inspired and talented culinary chef.

She splits her time between London and Lagos.
