Kehinde Bankole is one of Nigeria’s most exciting and exceptionally talented actors to come up in recent years. In 2009, she was named Revelation of the Year by “Best of Nollywood” for her performance in ELERIN EYE, which she followed up with eye-catching roles in movies such as THE MEETING, IMALA, 2 BRIDES AND A BABY, RENDER TO CAESAR, THE RETURN OF JENNIFER, BEYOND BLOOD and other ground breaking films.

Kehinde emerged the winner of the Best Actress Award at the 2015 Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards for her role in the blockbuster film OCTOBER 1; and has since been nominated and awarded for her exceptional delivery on several award platforms.

Kehinde is also well-known to television audiences for her role in Wale Adenuga’s SUPER STORY, as Ifeoma in Mnet’s highly-rated soap HOTEL MAJESTIC, Jane in Mnet’s TINSEL, or Asake in LAS GIDI COPS, and for her stints hosting THE AFRICAN KITCHEN cooking show and the family talk show THE SOUL SISTERS SHOW which she produced.

On stage, she showed her singing, dancing and acting skills playing Oya in the Yoruba- language play ITAN OGININTIN at the 2012 London Globe To Globe Shakespeare Festival with Wole Oguntokun’s Renegade theater. She played lead in Utopia Theatre’s play IYALODE OF ETI on a UK tour and has been named one of the best stage actors in Africa.

Kehinde is currently attached to several projects around the world including a French/Nigeria/Ghana film to be directed by the award winning Shirley FrimpongManso and due to be shot in Cannes towards the end of 2017. She is also attached to a fashion themed series due to be shot in South Africa in 2018.

Kehinde casually writes music and performs with her band when she's not working.
