The Creative Africa Content Pavilion (CACOP) is a NIFS industry initiative for promoting, marketing and driving international distribution for African content in order to create access to international markets for African creatives in film and audio-visual. 

NIFS in partnership with MIP London, is inviting African creatives with very high quality and premium scripted projects that are finished or in the development stage to submit their projects for The Best of Africa Pitch at MIP London taking place from February 22-24 in London. 

Five selected finalists will present their projects in front of MAJOR international commissioners, buyers, and networks seeking to commission, co-produce or acquire finished premium, scripted shows content from Africa during MIP London.

Project Submission Criteria  

  • Projects in development - scripts ready but open to changes.
  • Format: Drama.
  • Finished premium scripted shows made for international streamers and TV networks.
  • Must be able to show a track record of previous successful shows produced and licensed to existing streaming platforms or local TV networks.
  • Must be able to travel and participate in MIP London, taking place from 22nd to 24th February 2026.
  • Must be available for international pitch and market preparation sessions with international experts

Successful projects will be announced by 2nd February 2026.
Submission closes 26th January.
